So why not always use the new VodkaStar turbo then? Well the extreme purity comes at a cost - fermentation will be slower than normal for most turbo's. A typical fermentation time is 5-6 days but occasionally you may see even a few days longer. It will produce normal alcohol, i.e. around 14%. It has another interesting property. It performs very well at extreme (high) temperatures. Compared to most other turbo's out there, the VodkaStar will actually produce a good ferment even at ambient temperatures of 35C.
